Our new camper

We recently bought an 18 ft camper. It is old...a 1988, but as we found out today, it is SOLID. We went camping about a week and a half ago, to "try it out". After camping, we decided to take it to a RV repair place to get a water line fixed and get it inspected. There were a few other minor things we wanted checked and/or fixed. We got it all fixed, and I was getting a bit leary of the "added expenses" we were putting into it already. Well...we just picked it up today and we had the guys go over everything with us. In our conversations, the one guy asked us what we paid for it, we told him, and he informed us of what a GREAT deal we got. He said he could get us nearly double what we paid...in a day. Whew--that made me feel GREAT, so dispite the little extra we had to put in it, we are still ahead. He said they just don't make trailers like they used to, and that we had a great one...in very good condition. As he put it, we got a SOLID trailer...a real keeper! YEAH!!! I am on cloud nine after hearing that...and all the more ready to go camping again.

Here it is from a distance..my vehicle in front of it, and you can actually see the front end of Judes truck right behind it. (we pull it with my vehicle...because that is what we had the tow package put onto, since mine can handle a little more weight than the truck)

Sarah being EVIL...throwing Mary's bunny (her prized toy/friend/can't live without) out the door. If only we had sound for this...it was hilarious...she was laughing so hard and had the most evil look in her eyes. Mary laughed at first, but got quite disgusted. That just made Sarah laugh all the harder.

See what I mean. Wander if she would have laughed this hard if Mary was throwing Onion out the door? :)

The inside

This was taken looking in the door, just to the right. You are looking at our couch, which folds down into a bed. The cupboard you see above the bed also folds down and makes a loft-like bed.

This is standing at the door, looking left. You are seeing our dinette area that also folds down into a bed. The vertical mirror you see, is the door to the bathroom. To the right of it is our refrigerator and then stove.

Here is the "kitchen" area...the stove, oven, sink and some cupboards. (sorry we had it covered in stuff when I took this) To the right of this is where the couch area is.

And here is the best shot I could get you of the bathroom. You can see the commode and to the left of it is a HUGE closet like cuboard and storage. There is the sink and to the right of it is where the shower/tub is. That is the bathroom. Not huge, but not too tiny either.

This camper is just perfect for our family. We LOVE it and can't wait to use it more.
