Not caught up, but getting there

I am far from being caught up, but I at least feel accomplished for getting some new posts up. Enjoy!! And watch for more soon, I have shower pics, bachelorette party pics, wedding pics and much, much more. Plus I always have those random pictures of the cutest girls on the universe!!

Trinity Farewell

Trinity Church had a farewell reception for us in June
It was a nice gathering with friends. They got our family a few gifts as well. The girls are helping their Dad open it.
He got a special coffee maker. (they knew he wouldn't have a Benamati's close by) His wife won't make him coffee, so now he has a single cup coffee maker that he absolutely LOVES!!
They also got us a family year pass to the Pittsburgh Zoo. Thanks Trinity!!

Sunday School farewell

On the girls' last day of Sunday School at Creekside, Lori ended S.S. a tad early and had a little party for the girls.
Here she is reading the card one of the classes made for them
They even got to blow out candles.
It was a very nice party for the girls!! They felt special!

Creekside farewell

On Fathers Day Creekside held their annual church picnic and also celebrated our ministry with them on this day as well. The day was very nice and we enjoyed visiting with everyone...it was a bitter sweet good bye.
Of course Joyce made this gorgeous cake for us.
The church gave Jude a desk clock with a picture of the church engraved on the other side...very nice!
And he also got a trophy with a PIG on it. (this was in commemoration of him raising money for the needy in our community by kissing a pig-a year of so back)

From here to there

We went from this

and this (plus much, much more!)

Loaded on to this (and NO we did not fill the entire truck...a good bit of it, but definitely not ALL of it)

And check out the following posts to see "where" we moved.

Our House has become a HOME

Welcome to the digital tour of our new house. I have been begged for these pictures, so here they are. (Aunt Rita you are TOO quick, I was hoping to have this up in order for you to see, but since you are online as I am blogging, you are seeing it backwards).
Our side porch. Not the best view, but it is a nice space. We have the girls' sand and water table, my gardening bin and a little seating area set up. It is also a run through between the front of the house and the back.
Our home on wheels even has a spot (and you may notice the Church in the far background). Because of the shrubs behind the camper, most people actuall don't even realize that there is a house here. It is beautiful and peaceful.
And there is a lot of parking spaces (this is the extra lot below our house. I am standing on the driveway) So come and visit us...we'd love to see you!!
Oh I mentioned that I didn't post the dining room, but I also didn't post the spare room as it is a catch all for now...that and the garage. :) If you come visit, you can see those spaces.

The back porch

This is probably one of our favorite spots!! Our screened in back porch!!
Looking at it towards the house. That window is the one you will notice in the kitchen pictures. It is very handy. The girls like to stand at it and say, "order up" and we pass our food out the window and they help set the table.
Our grill...we love this thing and use it SO much! You would never know that it is about 7 years old. (thanks Dad...I would say it was a very wise buy)
And just a cute picture of Bee at our dining room table. Sorry the dining room still needs straightened up, so you won't get pics of that just yet. So this picture of our dining room chair will have to do.

The living room

Here is a shot of the living room. (I just noticed in this picture that my stained glass angels I have hanging in the BIG window make a smiley face)
The mantle above the FIREPLACE!! :) I know I need to update the pics of the girls, but at least we have some pics out.
A closer view of the corner of the living room (and my smiley face Angels)
The wall where I stood to take all the other pictures...we have it lined, now we just need to decide where we want them all.

Kitchen and Hall

This is our kitchen...small and cozy, but hey...everything is within reach when you need it. ;)
Looking the other direction in the kitchen (I was standing at the window that was pictured above) Oh, and the bakers rack is actually blocking a door way...we needed the extra space in the kitchen.
And here is the other side of the bakers rack...the door you see on the left is our powder room that is downstairs, so now we just created a little hall to the powder room, vs another route to the kitchen. (you may notice, the steps on the right take you upstairs)

The basement

The girls' corner
Another angle of their play space
Our comfortable corner...where Jude has his projector set up to watch "the BIG screen" (and our stationary bike in the foreground...maybe we'll actually use it more)
Another corner that will be my craft space (but is now a pile of boxes) and you can see the ironing in the front corner and the laundry room through the door. Even with moving I can't get away from that darn ironing pile!
There is still more to the basement, but this is the "majority" of it. It has needed some TLC, but is really a nice space. I have a feeling once we get completely settled in, we will be spending a lot of time down here. If nothing else, I'll be down there ironing! :(

Sarah's Room

A very nice lady from our new church made this beautiful door hanging quilt for Sarah.
Her bed and nightstand. (we were FINALLY able to find a reasonable nightstand and just got it a few nights ago...Sarah thinks she is HOT stuff with it. ) She even decorated it with a picture of herself.
Another angle
And still another. I just realized I didn't get a picture of her closet...but she does have one, and it is quite large as well.

Mary's room

A very nice lady from our new church made this door hanging quilt for Mary.
Her room is a bit cluttered, but I was ready to blog the rooms, so just took the picture anyways. Besides she is our pack rat, so there will always be something laying around in her room. (and in case you recognize it, yes this was my old bedroom set from growing up) She LOVES her queen size bed!!
Another angle
And her closet (it really is bigger than it looks). She had to share a closet with her sister before, so she is thrilled to have this one all to herself.
