Playground fun

These were taken a week or so back, when we were having beautiful weather...before this stinking COLD weather decided to come back.  Jude had a meeting at the church, so we decided to walk down the hill to the playground below our house.

 Mary was practicing her "pumping".  She just recently leaned how to pump her legs to swing, so she needs lots of practice.

Our new firepit

We treated ourselves to a new fire pit for our side porch.  It is GREAT.  We have already used it twice and can't wait to use it again.  (the nights have been just a tad too chilly for it lately)  I really like it because it is simple to use, even I can start it and keep it going.

If you are ever in our neck of the woods, stop by...we just may be sitting on the side porch enjoying our fire pit.  Oh...and I can't forget, I can make the worlds BEST smores over this fire!!

Not sure what is going on, but for some reason yesterday and today I am not able to get pics to upload straight from Picasa (which is what I usually do)  I will keep fiddling with it, and then if all else fails, will try uploading straight from blogger.  So, sorry about the many posts that pics aren't showing up..I am working on it.

Windover Hills UMC

In case you ever come to visit us (which we would LOVE), here is an outside view of our church.

It is a beautiful church on a hill...and they call it Windover Hills.

And people come from all over for pictures in our gazebo (it really isn't anything special, just a pretty gazebo)

And we are very welcoming to new visitors.

We are working on a new church directory, and so I have been snapping a lot of pictures for it. Thought I would share some with you. Have a great Sunday!!
