Gobble Gobble

This is what I came across the other day when I was picking Miss Mary up from school.  Three males strutting their stuff and a ton of females oblivious to the whole thing.  

 They sure were pretty!

"Don't worry mom...I am a GOOD girl!! I wouldn't jump and make a big splash and get MUD all over me...not me!?!"

Gotta love these crazy spur of the moment things my girls come up with!! 

Splish Splash

The other day I was working in the garage and a nice storm came through.  As it was mainly passed, the girls decided they needed to enjoy it, so they plopped on their rain boots and headed out.  They were having too much fun for me to be upset about the MUD.  :)  

 She was a little "cleaner" than her sister.

 But it sure is fun riding a scooter through a BIG puddle!

And there she goes...where she stops, nobody knows!

Boo did fabulous at lessons today...the instructor was even in shock.  Most of the lesson was spent in the "deep end".  (only 5 ft I think, but nonetheless it was deep for Mary)

 

Miss Bee didn't do to shabby either.  She not only got her goggles wet, but she got her ENTIRE head wet!!  Yep, this is BIG news for us.  And as you will see, she was quite proud of her accomplishment.  (as was I)

 

Here is Bee showing off a bit more.  One of these days I will have video of her jumping in...one of these days.  That and doing this rocket thing towards the instructor is our next goals.  

  

Boo swam the entire length of this pool with only 2 stops...this video will show you how far that is...pretty far for a 6 year old!!!  I am SO proud of her.  And she is quite excited.  We had to schedule lessons next week when Daddy would be able to come see this in person.  She can't wait to show him, and I can't wait to see his reaction.  This will be a fun summer with her in the pool...that's for sure!!

By the way I am taking a relaxed time with Miss Bee.  We are saying these lessons are for her sister, but if she does well and what is mainly asked of her, she gets a "little" attention from the instructor.  I am not pushing anything or getting upset like I did before, and it seems to be working.  I keep praying that one of these times she gets a little more courage...but for now I am trying to be patient and be grateful for the baby steps.  Any step forward is better than a step backwards.  :)

To my rescue

Just wanted to shout out a HUGE THANK YOU to some great guys!!  It all started a week or so back when our router started going on the fritz.  I could still get "connected", but our house computer wouldn't.  (which Mary and Sarah were NOT happy about)  So, Jude wanted me to pick up a new router.  (the one we were using we have had for well over a year, and we got it brand new from a goodwill for I think $2.  Yep, just $2.  I'm sure we got our moneys worth out of that one!!)  So a few days back I was out and picked up the new router my Dad recommended.  I don't like messing with the wires and everything around the computer, so I asked Jude to take care of it.  The next day he did.  It caused him a little trouble, but he was able to work through it and get it hooked up and running for all our devices EXCEPT my computer.  :(  I called Dad, he had me work through a bunch of things, nothing worked.  The next day we got back to work trying to get it figured out, and still nothing was working, except when I turned off my firewall and ALL security.  Couldn't let it stay that way, but we were stuck.  Dad kept trying to figure it out (even though he couldn't see my screen) and I called my brother-in-law Jimmy.  He had me do something (these computer guys get me SO lost when they have me go here and there and everywhere) but it wasn't quite working yet, and he needed to look something up, so was going to call me back.   When we hung up, I did something (not sure what) and it started working, so I called Dad to get all my security back on to see if it would still go, and we found out another problem.  Got that taken care of, got security on and it was still working (for the most part).  Then got back in touch with Jimmy and he got the last problem taken care of.  WooHoo...so thank you to Jude for starting this mess (aka hooking up our new and better wireless router) and for Dad and Jimmy using their computer knowledge together to get me back up and running.  It was not fun not having a computer for a few days.  I owe you guys!!!

Hodge Podge

This post will be a hodge podge of pics, and I am just noticing they didn't even upload in the correct order, they are all jumbled.  Oh well!  This is a picture of the "super moon" that we were very disappointed in.  It was pretty, but truly, nothing super!!

But it still gave us a good excuse to sit out at our fire pit, enjoy the evening with Mom and Dad Urso and watch it come up.  Life doesn't get much better than this!!

 And Sarah was just the cutest thing ever...she kept saying, take my picture here...and here...and here.  She saw the camera and wanted to pose by the pit..  :)  For those that remember her a few years ago, this is a total flip from the way she used to be.  I took a bunch, but finally cut her off.  So here are a few of them.

 Our camper...still not sold, but it is all working out.  We found a great place to keep it for the summer, and we will still be able to use it for camping.  And it is FREE!!  Doesn't get much better than that.

Happy Birthday Tiff!!!

Yesterday was Tiffany's birthday.  If you know my family or have followed my blog, you will know Tiffany.  We call her our "3rd" daughter.  She turned 18 yesterday.  Yikes, I can't believe she is 18 already.  She has known our girls since they were born, and her and her sister have been a big part of our lives.  I had planned on posting a video of the girls singing to her, but my Boo has not been feeling so hot today, so we didn't get that done.  So, please imagine the girls jumping up and down like crazy jumping beans, singing Happy Birthday to their "big sister".  Happy Birthday Tiffy...we sure are proud of the young lady you have grown to be, and glad to be able to call you one of our girls.  Can't wait for all of our plans with you this summer.  (since she is our "daughter", she travels with us to conference, camp and who knows what else) :)
