Photo Shoot

The girls were SUPER models for PawPaw. He wanted to check out his new backdrops and lighting before the wedding. I brought along these dresses, and was thankful I did. I got some great shots of them, and PawPaw got to practice with everything.
Not much difference in their size. (Sarah was on a slightly higher stool, but not much)
And here is another backdrop...my personal favorite!
She did this pose without even being asked. What a cutie!!

New photo stuff

My Dad is in town for the holidays and for Grandmas wedding. Since he is the main photographer, he invested in some GREAT stuff for picture taking. He decided to leave it here for us to use, which I am very grateful for. I took this pic so I could see how the lighting goes up.
Sarah wanted her pic taken.
And now Mary is posing in front of one of PawPaws new backdrops.

Merry Christmas

Our Church, Creekside UMC all decked out for Christmas
The Church's Angel Tree. We help struggling families within our church and/or the Marion Center School District. This year we stepped out in faith, and helped 9 families, gave blankets to over 30 kids and toys for them all. This doesn't show all of the gifts, but I thought it gave you an idea. There are many families that were blessed this Christmas. And I am so glad our Church takes this project on as a community ministry.

Santa came to Creekside

Santa visited the fire hall and brought presents.

Mary got a Hannah Montana accessory gift pack
and Sarah got a babydoll. I have a better picture of her and the baby...but I just loved her expression on this one. (She sat on his lap and asked for a babydoll, walked to her seat, opened her present and it was lo and behold a baby doll)

Fire Hall Christmas Party

Since Jude is a volunteer firefighter, we were invited to their Christmas party, and it actually fell on an evening that we were available to attend. They gave everyone tickets when they came in, and then drew names for doorprizes.

Below...Mary just heard her number called...SHE WON!!!
And then a bit later...Sarah's number got called...so she WON too!!! (can you tell she was just a tad excited??)
Mary got a very nice snowman candle holder.
And Sarah got candycane floating candles.

Gingerbread Houses (2)

And here is Mary's finished product
And Sarah's finished product
We also enjoyed lunch together. (pb & j and fruit for the kids, and pita sandwhiches for the moms)
My buddy James!! (He and I have a very special bond...I got to be part of his birth, and even though he would obviously not remember that, he is very close to me. He is reserved with most folks, but usually comes right to me)
