Sarah was playing dress up with her sister the other day, and after playing princess, she ended up like this.
She thought she was HOT stuff!!

I'm gonna miss this

One night last week Jude went next door for me...to get us ice cream. I told him to get me a small if one of the owners was making it, or a medium if a worker was (b/c the workers just don't get it made like the owners).
Well, the owner took his order, but Jude thought he would have an employee make it, so he said a medium choc. cone. This is what I got!! (the owner himself, made it for me)

In case you don't realize just how BIG this cone is, I took a picture next to a light switch so you could see. (when Jude saw this, he ordered a smaller sundae for himself, and I gave him the top off of this)

Boy am I going to miss this!!

Rocky

I would like to introduce you to Rocky, the 28 year old Kodiak bear at the Pittsburgh Zoo.

While we were there he was getting his afternoon snack...fish and fresh fruit. I watched for quite a while so I could get some fun shots.

He really enjoyed his fresh fruit...especially the oranges.

The poor guy has arthritis and doesn't get around too well, but he sure was able to catch his food when it was thrown to him. Mary and I really enjoyed watching this. (Sarah was a bit bored with it).

A day at the zoo

Last Friday Jude realized he had some time off, so we decided to go to the zoo.
Sarah was very excited. (Mary was at school, we picked her up on our way there)

We went to Kids Kingdom and played for a bit before getting started

This is Sarah's new thing to do when it is sunny...it just drives me crazy! :p

Dippin Dots

At the end of our day at the zoo we decided to get Dippin Dots. The girls LOVE them and so do I!

And I got samples of BOTH!! :) It was a great day!
