Kids Day Out @ Anderson's

Nancy and Moose invited Cory, Casidhe, Mary and Sarah over for a day of playing. They spent the day playing together...even going on a ntaure hike (not far...it was too cold) and then we all joined them for supper. Yeah Nancy is that good...she had 4 kids at her house, managed to get Sarah down for a nap and cooked supper for 9. Wow..what a woman..wish I could accomplish that!!

We had yummy stromboli, salad, fresh bread, sauce and then homemade angel food cake for dessert. Everything was excellent!

Then the kids went back to playing...see Sarah was enjoying herself.

Even being tickled by Nancy...(sorry I was laying on the couch, so this pic came out cockeyed)

The kids were playing hide and go seek, but Sarah likes to give away her location, by either telling you where she is or giggling.

I think it is safe to say a good day was had by all...even Moose seemed to enjoy himself....Nancy says he is the biggest kid of them all.

The kids spent the day at Nancy and Moose's house. And then Kym and I joined them all for supper. (Jude came up too) It was a great day, and ended with a great supper.

And now I think I am done posting pictures from our vacation. Sorry if I bored you with so many, I just took a lot, and had trouble narrowing them down to post. Believe me I still narrowed them down, but wanted you to have a "taste" of our vacation. We had a great time and can't wait till this fall when we will return.

Now that we are getting settled back in, we are busy with daily art projects, so be sure to check out my other blogs; Bees works of art and Boos works of art; as I will try to post their projects as they dry.

Golf Lesson

This was taken shortly after we got home from vacation. Jude was putting his clubs away (since we took them with us) and Mary decided she needed to get hers out. (we got her a "real" set for Christmas)
For this first lesson Jude just let her hold her clubs and of course wear her hat.

And he tried to show her the proper way to hold her clubs. She can't wait until spring when she can try them out outside.

I have a feeling he will be getting a sidekick as often as he allows when he goes golfing. She can be his caddy!!

Swimming in VA

The water was cold in the indoor pool at our hotel in Virginia, so my dear husband was kind enough to get in with the girls, and let me stay out and just take pictures and stay warm.
It might be cold, but Sarah is enjoying it with her Daddy!

Sprts Illustrated Cover Model

We had an indoor pool at the hotel we stayed at on our way home from Florida. I got them ready to go swimming, and Miss Mary just had to model for me.

I wish I had a figure like her.

Now this is talent...she can balance on one foot and still smile. :0

Oops...raising the foot up knocks her off balance a bit, but she can still smile!

Take note her sister was not out modeling in her suit.

Cracker Barrel

On our way home from Florida, we stopped in Virginia at a hotel. Close to the hotel was a Cracker Barrel, so that is what we had for dinner. Mary loves Cracker Barrel, especially their checkers tables.

This was near our table, so helped pass the time while we were waiting for our food.
