My Mothers Day souvenir

I think everyone knew it happened, I just never posted pics.  On Mothers Day Miss Mary fell down our steps and broke her wrist.  A few days later we were getting it casted.  They were very kind and let her pick 2 colors.  She was tickled pink...and purple!

 And Mary was SO nice and let Sarah be the first to sign her cast.  Sarah did a great job!

 It is hard to read, but it really was quite clear in person and did say "SARAH"  (and as a side note...do you know how hard it is to write on a cast?   I had the roughest time signing it) 

As another side note...the cast is LONG GONE and we are not looking back.  She did great, but it is so nice not having to shower with a bag, skip swimming and deal with the heat of it.  This was her first cast, and I am praying it is her LAST cast!!

Just a quick post to wish everyone a very Happy Fathers Day.

These girls have the best Daddy, and they love him beyond measure!!

 And here they are with their Daddy.  I think this was from Disney in January, so it is a bit old. 

I also want to shout out to my 2 Dad's.  My Dad has taught me more than he will ever know.  He has been and always will be a great role model.  I hope to be at least half as hard of a worker as he has been his whole life.  
And to my second Dad, who I am happy to call Dad as well, Jim.  You raised the best son a woman could ever ask for...he is the perfect Dad, perfect husband and best friend.   Thank you also for taking me in as your daughter!!    I am proud to be an Urso!   And most importantly to both of you, thanks for being awesome men in my daughters' lives.  They love you both more than you will ever know.

I am still living

I'm sure some of you are wandering since I haven't posted in over a month!  :O   But, yes, I am still living.  I am still snapping pics, just haven't taken the time to post any lately.  We have been SO busy and thing aren't slowing down, so bear with me for a bit.  Every other week this summer from the day Mary got out of school, I have something MAJOR going on.  So on the "down" weeks, I get to catch up on laundry and yard work.  Have I mentioned the BIG yard projects I have been working on...well if I haven't mentioned them before, don't worry, I will have pictures, one of these days.  Oh and I am working too amidst all the craziness.  I work for the Disney Store and love my job.  So that is my excuse for the lack of pictures...hopefully this week sometime I will be able to get a few posts up.  For now I am off to get two little girls showered and ready for bed, then I need to work on Church Camp stuff.  Toodles!

Happy Mothers Day

For Mothers Day we went to a castle with the Urso family and all of my sister-in-laws families too.

 It was a pretty day, and a great meal.

 Hope you had a great Mothers Day...I did!  My girls remind me daily how blessed I am to be their mother.  And my husband treats every day as Mothers Day.  Thank you Lord for my beautiful family!  I couldn't ask for anything more. 

In honor of the royal wedding

The day of the royal wedding, I didn;t get up early for the entire thing, however I woke up just in time for the best part, the vows and the end of the service.  It was such a beautiful service, and the girls enjoyed watching it with us (especially Sarah).  We had to attempt to explain to them the significance of it, and how things are run differently in England than they are here.  Sarah was quite fascinated with it all.  Well, time came to take Mary to school, we ran downstairs to get shoes on and head out the door.  Sarah ran to the basement, and when she returned, this is what I found.

 She wanted to wear it in honor of the royal wedding...just like the other wedding guests.  (I think this was an Easter hat from two years ago, but she found it.)

 How can you not look at this and just smile?

Easter Fun

Not sure why the pic uploaded first, but oh well.  After this, I think they are in order.  (I am having trouble uploading like I used to, and can't get used to the new way) 

 We do our Easter Bunny celebration after church so that Daddy gets to experience it with us.  This time the girls couldn't find their baskets, but they did find this.
