We had a really cool 4th of July. We spent the morning cleaning out our shed...a major project, but it felt SO good to have it done. Then we got cleaned up and went to our friends house for a little cookout. John did some burgers on the grill and Becky had some side dishes. We took fruit and dip. It was just a fun, relaxing afternoon sitting on their deck.
Sarah had her own personal little picnic. Tuesday, July 7, 2009

Cousins
Urso Party
Jill and her boys...Jude, Jimmy and Jason
(I love this picture of all of them...the boys were actually smiling!)
Now they can't smile!! (j/k...but not sure whats up the faces, they must have been laughing about something...maybe about Jason and him having to cover the spot on his shirt)(I love this picture of all of them...the boys were actually smiling!)
And here is the gang...minus Sunny (she was busy hosting). Jude and I; Jimmy; and Jason and Michelle
"Surprise" This was Jim when he first walked in and realized the party was indeed for him too. Here he and Jill are greeting some cousins and friends. (Angie, I tried to find a pic with you in it to post but couldn't, so John will have to do) :)
Happy Birthday
This past weekend we had a TRIPLE Surprise Birthday Party for Jude's Dads 60th, his older brothers 40th and his older brother's sister-in-laws 40th.
It was great...and they managed to keep it a surprise from all three of them. Jim Sr. thought the party was for Jimmy and Beth; and Jimmy and Beth thought the party was for Jim. The guys even helped cook for their own party...it doesn't get much better than that!!
Here are the picture boards that Jill and Sunny did such a wonderful job on. (Jill did Jimmy and Beths and Sunny did Jims)It was great...and they managed to keep it a surprise from all three of them. And at the end of the night the birthday folks posed with their spouses in front of the massive banner that Sunny made. (Jim and Jill on left; Beth and Allan in center and Sunny and Jimmy on right)
The party was held at a local sportmans club.

Kennywood
Recently Jude took the youth group on a mystery trip...they went to Kennywood. (a mystery trip is one that they sign up for, but don't know what they are signing up for)
Here are the ones that got to be part of the trip.
Here is the most delicious Dippin' Dots Peanut Butter Sundae! Here are the ones that got to be part of the trip.
I took this of two of the youth...and just thought it was a cool picture of the Pittsburgh Plunge.
And some of the kids on the raging rapids. (It was hot, so they were happy to get wet!)
The girls stayed with a babysitter, so I went along as another adult chaperone. It was a very fun day!! And the girls had fun...they spent the afternoon swimming at the babysitters house...so they were in their glory.
Father's Day Picnic
On Father's Day we headed to Pittsburgh to be with Jude's Dad. On the way, we stopped in Homer City for a little picnic. It was a beautiful day, and an enjoyable picnic.
I packed some fruit and chips, and we just bought sandwiches from Sheetz...where we were for our picnic. Bee wasn't being cooperative for photos...big surprise!
Jude and his Dad with the girls. Once again, Sarah was not being cooperative.
