She behaved SO well during her sisters swim lessons. This particular day she colored numerous pictures for me.

And did a mighty fine job at it!!

Happy 4th

We spent the 4th of July in Indiana and celebrated with the Urso's on the 5th.
Grandma and Pap hosted a picnic.
Had to take a picture of the "look-a-likes"

And the DELICIOUS apple strudel that Pap made. Well, the apple was delicious, but the peach just melted in my mouth. (thats why I don't have a picture of it) Yum...I'm hungry just looking at this picture.

Mary's favorite was the fruit bowl! She steals all the pineapple and strawberries. (Sarah eat the watermelon)

4th of July

For the 4th of July we traveled back to Indiana. We crashed a picnic at a friends house, visited Grandma and Pappy Bill, went to the funeral home as my great uncle passed away and then watched the fireworks with the Pumfords.

Marianne remembered to bring glow sticks which the kids LOVED!!

The girls watching the show. We watched from St. Bernards parking lot. It was an enjoyable evening and then we hit the road to make it back home.

Our first Friday evening in South Park we got to experience their music in the park series.

And it just so happened to be the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.

It was a beautiful evening, with hundreds of our neighbors...we just brought our own chairs and some drinks and snacks and enjoyed the music. They ended with a patriotic tribute which was GREAT. After that we took off, hoping to beat the crowds out. Well, we just live up the hill from this outdoor venue, and when we were walking into our house, we could still hear them play...so now we know we can sit outside and enjoy any other Friday night shows from our porch.

It was a great family night!!

Out and about

Last week, after VBS I decided to take a break from unpacking and take the girls to a playground...just down the hill from us.

Mary was so proud of herself...she finally mastered the firemans pole...and it was a high one.
