Last of the zoo

Having fun at the zoo

Looking back at it, this picture creeps me out!!  :o
And this one cracks me up.  Sarah looks scared for her life!!  (and Mary must be thinking "luckily the shark will be full of Sarah and won't eat me up")
Now Mary is having second thoughts..."maybe it will still be hungry for me!"
Wouldn't want to meet this guy without a tank between us
Mr. Polar Bear was super hungry...waiting for his lunch to arrive.
It was a fun day at the zoo!!

Big News (take 2)

Miss Sarah doesn't have any big news...but she does have ALL her teeth in tact.
But Miss Mary does...she LOST yet another tooth tonight.  And this one she lost entirely on her own.   I had put a handful of blog entries up this afternoon and was going to stop, when Miss Mary came up to me and explained she was glad her loose tooth was on the bottom and not the top. She said if it was on the top it might fall off in her mouth and she would swallow it. So I had her let me see it, and sure enough it was literally attached by a thread, if that. I said she should hand it to me before she swallows it, and she touched it, and it pretty much fell out in her hands. It was the first one she got out entirely on her own!! Can you tell she is quite proud?
 My hillbilly daughter
Pointing to the empty space.  (although she has MANY empty spaces now)
I can see we will be frequenting the orthodontist some day!!
And this pretty girl was washing sea shells for me while this was all transpiring.  She thought it would be a fun little project, and I wasn't arguing.

My hillbilly child with NO teeth.

And Miss Sarah is cleaning seashells for me. She found my vase of shells and decided washing them would be a fun project. I won't argue. :)
She has all her teeth in tact, and is in no hurry to lose any of them.

WARNING

Warning...if you live in or near Creekside, be warned.  Tiffany got her drivers license today!!  Stay off the roads and keep your kids off the sidewalks...Tiffy is on the loose!!    :)

Sure makes me feel old...she can't be old enough to be driving.  Although the greatest thing is now she can drive down and visit US!!  :)
Congrats Tiffy!!

Some pretty flowers

These are all just outside our front door
I had fun just snapping from some different angles
This next one was one of my favorites.
Such a pretty flower (can't remember what it is called though)

And this one is my FAVORITE color.  It is way more purple in person than in these pics.

And there are so many (more than just this) and they are so full...I just love them!
Thinking about blooming...if that sun ever shows its face again.  (these were taken last week)
These are on the side of the house
 Back to my favorites!!

This was taken today...this tree on the side of the house is beginning to blossom.  Not sure what kind of tree it is either, but the little buds on it are pretty.

Play Ball

Or pick a flower for Mom
 Or just look plain CUTE!
 Now...play ball and look cute!

Swim update

Here is Sarah's progress...pretty MAJOR if you ask me.  Daddy came to watch and we tried with all our might to get her to jump in or to do a rocket toward Miss Jess, but all the bribery in the world from Daddy didn't even work.  She wanted the prize in the worst way, but refused to do it, so NO prize.  But when Miss Jess brought her back from one of her "drills" she just let go of her, and this is what happened.  This recording is actually the second time, because I wasn't prepared when she let go the first time!  :o  Maybe there is still hope for this girl, maybe!

And this girl regressed.  Not sure what was going on, but she went backwards.  Her swimming was very weak, and she seemed like she was sinking.  Not sure what was going on, but sure hope she gets back on track.  She did make it the length of the pool with 2 stops (which is better than the three we had last week) but she was really working way too hard swimming (because she wasn't doing it right)  It was like she was trying to swim under-water instead of gliding across the top.  She wouldn't kick her feet or extend her arms for the strokes.  Even though it wasn't as good as the week before, she still did a great job and is really becoming quite the fish.
We are taking next week off because of Holy Week, but will be back at it in 2 weeks.  I'll keep you posted on the progress!
