Christmas with PawPaw

I think we could have stopped after the first two presents we opened. One was a backpack full of baby feeding supplies, and the other was this...a package with bottles and sippy cups. You will notice who is claiming this one. Onion will be well hydrated after tonight, I'm sure! (Onion...our baby doll.-Sarah's baby doll)Cool sticker books. We LOVE stickers!

Oh, and especially thanks for my new laptop,that I am currently using!

What a night!!

Plus it is fun to play!!

Each girl got a toddler airmattress...Disney Princesses. Very cool!! Sarah couldn't wait to set hers up for Onion to rest on. (our pump wasn't charged, but Onion still rested on it)

Presents, Presents, Presents

Tonight we had our Christmas with my Dad. (Aunt Rita does his shopping, and as usual..did a great job) Dad and Grandma were here to watch the girls open their presents. Then we had supper together and enjoyed the evening. The girls had plenty to keep them occupied tonight. I think they sampled playing with just about every gift that was received.

Mary got a paper cut...opening so much stuffI got some cool Disney scrapbook stuff, an album, layout pages, actually an entire book of Disney pages, stickers and a mouse cut out thing. Very cool...now I need to get busy filling the pages.

Our new Disney Scene It game.(2nd edition) We have the first and love it, but the second has more recent Disney movies, so unfortunately I think Mary will be beating us all at this game.
(at first Mary was upset...she thought it was the same one we have, but then she saw the Incredibles and Cars and movies that she loves...that changed her tune real fast)

I also received a beautiful book called, "In my Daughter's Eyes" by Martina McBride.
It is very touching...especially through MY daughters eyes. Can't wait to listen to the cd that came with it.

Jude got a rod to hang clothes in his vehicle, a Steeler's golf towel, and 2 gift cards. (one of which is for Dick's sporting goods...he is already looking online to get an idea of what he wants to buy himself) I think the Steeler's towel really made his day!!

The air bed...perfect for when we travel. The girls usually just sleep on a make shift bed, now they have their own. Sarah was so anxious to get hers set up tonight..but our pump needed charged.

The chest behind her was a gift from PawPaw...both Mary and Sarah got one...to have as a Hope Chest. It is a nice cedar chest made by the Amish...so it will last!

A site worth seeing.

The last two nights Creekside Church has presented their Living Nativity. Because of a rainy day yesterday, we did not get to put out the luminaries. Today was beautiful...cold...but beautiful, so we did get to do the luminaries. This is one of my favorite parts. I love putting them out, but even more, I love walking back through town once they are all lit...guiding my way to the Church. If you have never seen it, it is quite an awesome site. These pictures don't do any justice to the beauty of it. But I am sharing them anyway.

This is just a pretty picture of our Church...Creekside United Methodist Church. The luminaries gave it a "glow"

One of the scenes from the Nativity. It is held outside, so weather plays a part. Thankfully, God has blessed us the past 7 years. Some nights have been snowy and most nights are cold, but there is just something special about standing outside in the cold, listening to the story of Jesus' birth. It is something that brings many people back year after year. Praise God!

I will end this with a great big Happy Birthday to Baby Jesus...that is what we celebrate this time of year. (I know it is early, but I don't think December 25th is the actual date, so we celebrate all through the season of Advent..and beyond.)
And if you have never heard the song, Mary, Did you Know? I love that song and highly recomend that you hear it...it is a great reminder of the baby born to Mary and what he would come to do.

My new toy

Here are pictures of my new laptop...a Christmas present from my Dad. Thanks Dad!!!

He got me an Acer. It is a mini-laptop. I think it only weighs about 2 1/2 pounds.
He knows I carry enough baggage around with the stuff I tote for the girls, so he thought this would be perfect...and it is!I put my hand in for this picture, to give you an idea on the size. It is so cute, being small.

It's great because at night, I can sit upstairs in bed, and work on my computer. We have high speed internet, and wireless here at the house, so I am even connected. That is where I am working from right now. (and Jude can be on the computer downstairs at the same time. )

Plus it's portable, so now I have no excuse for not giving you all updates when we are out and about...which if you know us, you know that is quite frequently. In January you will even get updates from Disney!! YIPPEEE...I can't wait!!
