Marion Center Homecoming Parade

We went to our friends' house and sat on their porch and sidewalk. It was perfect..the girls loved it, and there were not many people at all...the crowds were down closer to the school.
Here, the girls were waiting for the parade, and spotted a worm making its way across the sidewalk. (notice it between them) They wanted to help it along, but I insisted they leave it alone, but they could watch it.

Aren't they cute just sitting there watching the parade?

And they got rewarded for their goodness...we were bombed with candy

Literally bombed! (the kids were pelting us with it) And what you see on their chairs is not all they got, they had more in their bucket and grocery bag and they shared with my aunt who helped us gather the candy. It was unbelievable!

and made for a nice Friday evening outing for us.
