Grandparents Day

Grandparents Day at Seeds of Faith Christian AcademyGrandma Jill, Great Grandma Mary, Little Mary and PawPaw Roger

Mary's school had Grandparents day this past Friday. When her class was making and sending invitations, we realized that it happened to be the same week my Dad was going to be in town for my cousins wedding. I was so excited to have so many in attendance for Mary. The school had a program, Mary's class sang, they got to tour their classroom, and then had lunch together. Everyone seemed to have a good time. Mary sure was excited to have everyone there!

We got a picture of all the "girls".
(I was there because I volunteered to help make and serve the lunch)

When we left, Jill took Mary for a hair cut (just a trim) and then she took the girls to her house for a sleepover with their cousins. We had a church meeting that night, so it was nice not having to chase after them. I picked them up the next morning...being lectured by them that their next sleepover needed to be more than just one night. :) Sarah even piped up on this issue.
They also said they ate the last of Pap's waffles...when Mary stays at the Urso's, first thing when she wakes up, she runs up and gets Pap to make her his special waffles. :) (Pap better get more waffles by Friday morning, we have reservations for the Urso hotel on Thursday night after the BIG HALLOWEEN BASH. )

Again...great pics! And it looks like everyone had an enjoyable time. Mary does look quite proud. :o) It is soooo nice that your dad was able to be here for it. :o)
