Rough night

Last night Sarah was running a bit of a temperature. (that is when we put her to bed)
Well, at 3am we were awakened to her cries. Jude got her, and she was on fire...very hot. No wander, she was running a temp of 104.5. I hate temps, especially when they climb that high. Besides being hot though, she seemed fine, so we gave her some Tylenol and changed her into cooler clothes and kept her with us. She did eventually cool down, but has been running a lower temp off and on all day. These were taken as she was "sleeping in", till about 8:30. That is unheard of in this house.

She has just been out of sorts!
That is, until the Tylenol kicked in again. She got her second wind and decided to jump on her bed and show me her "tricks". She likes to attempt to flip over, but ends up rolling around. It is very cute.

We did call the doctor, and since she is still drinking a little, and for the most part acting normal, they just want us to watch her and call if anything changes. Let's pray for this to break, and for us to get a better night tonight! There is nothing worse than seeing your little one sick.

Oh my goodness, poor little Sarah. Fevers are no fun, and can be downright scary. I remember when Brandon's was 105. We ended up taking him to the ER because he wasn't eating or drinking. They put him in a tub of cool water to help bring his temp down. Let's just say it was a long time before he thought baths were fun again. :op Anyhoo, I am glad that Sarah got to feeling better and I hope that high temp is a thing of the past.
